2021 opened the door to new thinking despite the global Covid virus pandemic, the South Australian Tourism Commission was unable to conduct the usual World Tour event, but instead re-invented and invested in a National “Santos Festival of Cycling” which included 3 Women’s and Men’s road stage and a criterium event from 21st – 24th January, 2021. Once again, AEO was fortunate enough to be able to assist “Events South Australia” plan and execute the Operational components for this event. Good to see that events are starting to occur again, following the heath rules, while maintaining social distancing and collecting contact tracing data if required.
